Highpoint and Today

I'm Home! Yes indeed I am, I had a great time.

I had 9 people in my A-Frame/Cabin including the counselor. Every morning we got up at 7:00, took showers had devotions then went to breakfast (The food was always delicious) then the whole camp met in a big structure with a roof over it called "The Pavilion". The first day we made small groups composed of multiple cabins, my small group was called the "Tenacious Tumbleweeds". After we met in the Pavilion in the morning we'd do small group activity's, everyday my team won one game and lost one game. Then we would head back to the Pavilion and listen to the morning message. The man that gave the sermons we called "Pastor Sam" he was outstanding after every session I felt spiritually refreshed. Each of the messages I felt pointed directly to me, I don't know why... just something about them I was able to relate to myself. I feel differently (In a good way) my perspective on some things has changed dramatically, while other areas I'm more aware.

I got my wish on Thursday, there was a storm in the distance I was watching from a hill. The breeze was in my face, and I was able to think about life. At one point I was able to see the rain approaching me and seeing the lightning in the distance. I just closed my eyes and felt so blessed. I cannot emphasize how magnificent it was.

Matthew blobbed me, and I went sky high. I'll post some pictures that Aaron sends me of them later.

Nobody in my cabin was able to beat me arm wrestling it was either a draw or I beat them.

I probably lost like 10 pounds :D

I was browsing through some pictures today (Not of the camp) and I saw a picture where it looked like I had my arm around somebody, I was baffled because I didn't remember. I took a closer look and zoomed in I saw my hand behind myself, if anybody saw it, No worries.

Today we went on a day trip, some pics.

Tell my My father on a Motorized scooter doesn't look funny.

Sun was in my eyes, I also Didn't have a hat to tip ;)
On the way home, I was looking out the window, I saw this beautiful picture Opportunity. Tell me what you think.

Yesterday

Was an interesting day at the B's VBS, when I got there I was chosen to be in Rachel L's crew. I felt bad telling the kids to do things considering I was only there for one day, and they don't even know me. At the beginning of the day, when a certain song was sang to put their hands on my back and "Hold On" they didn't do it to me, but at the end they mustered enough respect for me to do it. The songs were fun, although I must admit I felt kinda funny flailing on arms in the air during them. During game time we played a strange game that seemed homemade, where you take a Broken in the bottom bottle of water and move it over your teams head, then run to a bucket with wet sponges and throw them at the other team. Then we played a game where you had a ball and had to throw it at a wall call somebody's name and then run to their seat before they pick it up, half way through this game, Johnathan (The Kid with Sports blood running through his vains) Whipped the thing over the roof of the church LOL! we had to play a game from earlier, I must admit that the lady doing the game time was not to happy.

At the end of the day, they had everybody helping go up front, I felt like an idiot going up because I was only there for 1 day... Rachel Called me up so I had to go. Afterwards all the helpers that were from the HSG were chillin' outside, runnin around, talking.... occasionally picking water fights. it was good :)

So yes, the video card in my compy is dying due to overheating problems... I eventually need to get a new one and check out the one I'd love to get.
Just look at that baby! wow...

Church and Growing up/Dealing with it.

The Sunday morning service was, interesting. I wasn't completly able to keep up with what the pastor was saying, he was preaching from Revelation ( I was very impressed about might I add ). He talked about what we'll have or not have in heaven. We won't have anything to be afraid of I believe what his main point was. He did at one point touch on the fact that there will be no marriage in heaven, and marriage being something only on earth. He didn't use scripture to back it up, but he could have talked about the men that went to Jesus and gave him a scenario where a man? married a woman, then she died, then married another then she died, then married another then he died, who will he be married to in heaven. I know if I were to ever get married, the thought of not being together forever would get to me, but in heaven I'm sure my perspective would change.

I was kind of spacing out and in to the service, but thats about all I got.

I came to some thinking recently, I know many people my age are probably going through some tough times due to growing up. There is no such thing as a perfect child, maybe examine yourselves and realize that your situation is not misunderstood by your parents or friends. The bible talks about nothing new being under the sun, you're parents have been your age once too. Growing up is normal and you should never feel like it's a curse, it's one of the few major milestones in ones life and shouldn't be taken lightly.

There is also no such thing as a perfect parent, the true goal of a parent during such a time should only to be somebody to lean on and to watch as an example for adulthood and for correction when necessary. Most parents don't misunderstand their child's situation, just don't totally know how to deal with it. That shouldn't discourage you, it can be a process that both sides work on together.

Hope I'm looking too much into anything, I feel like I'm barely skimming it.

Don't get mad at me please :)

Random thought: Why is it Mothers and Fathers other then your own are always the coolest? Please somebody tell me...

Sorry for grammatical errors. I hope that people understand things from my point of view.

Comments totally welcome and wanted.

Nothing new in my life I can really post about... I'll put a few things together.

Pretty soon, I'll be getting a Japanese sword. I'll be training myself how to use it, maybe make my own style or something. Silly sounding I know, it'll keep my occupied. The reason I decided to get a Japanese sword over a sword that you'd usually think of, is because the normal sword has a shield that you'd have equipped. I like the fact that there would be skill involved.

Been getting bored of computer games recently, moving on with my life. I've decided after this summer I'll be spending less time on the computer, and focusing on my studies more. I have a lot I'm expecting for myself, and I need to get my rear in gear and prepare myself for the SATs and College in two years.

Going to be getting my license in a year, looking forward to being able to take myself places instead of looking up to people with obviously better things to do.

Somebody blew up my grandfathers mailbox last night, probably some punks driving down the street and felt like being total morons. The police officer said it wasn't anything serious, and it was probably people getting rid of their left over fireworks from the 4'th. Sometimes I feel like smacking people in the face with the backside of my hand, the things that people derive enjoyment from disgusts me.

I recently over clocked the CPU in my computer by 400 MHZ, now it's at a total of 2.4 GHZ.

Some parts of this post probably look like I'm in a bad mood, I honestly couldn't be happier, just some thoughts running through my mind.

Day late

Yesterday, last game of HSG kickball... I played the best I could, I found I ran a decent speed just my kicks were horrible.

I was on 2'nd base, running to 3'rd when Eric almost caught the ball that I forget who kicked, while running I almost gave up but decided to keep going and it paid off. didn't catch up to me, I was so nervous that I ran into a a girl named Grace on 3'rd, I felt so bad... at least I caught her from falling. Sports aren't totally my thing, I just go with the flow. I popped the kickball we were using, and had to get the soccer ball from the car.

This week my sister Rachel played very well, I think she only missed catching one ball and caught 4 others, her kicks were very good too.

Sarah was coaching first base, and was making fun of EVERYBODY who got on first. Love you Sarah :P

I know the about what I did during the game is the longest, but I only remember what I did the best :)

So here I am up at 5:51, after getting up for a drink of water, I can't sleep(not a bad thing, recently I've been getting more then 9 hours of sleep). My sisters just left for a wedding in Maine they also needed me to check the oil on the car, and make sure the tires were full. Last night I read Proverbs chapters 1,2 and 3. I'll probably continue up to chapter 6 today.

Later today, I'm going to my grandfathers to help him get his wood shredder out of the shed and working, I can't let him do it by himself. It's great how I can be available whenever for them, because they live right next door. I try to see them as much as possible, it probably upsets my grandfather that he can't do as much from he was younger. He's incredibly strong for almost being 80, ever since 3 years ago he used to split wood with a sledgehammer. I'm blessed to have all of my grandparents alive. I'm named after him from the translated Arabic name Hanna (Hh-A-nna hard to spell with English letters) which is John in English. My fathers name was supposed to be George to follow tradition, there were probably 15 George's and 15 Johns following me and my Father. My grandparents broke this tradition though, but my father carried it on for me.

Not sure if this was supposed to be a post of ancestry or what, I guess it turned out to be. My life is pretty boring sometimes :) it's all good though.

September 1'st 1999

September 1'st 1999 was probably the scariest day of my life, I woke up that morning no later then 2:00 am. Packed my things, my grandmother came over and we headed to the hospital. I was placed in a stretcher like thing, I was asked if I wanted a drink that would make me drowsy and make me fall asleep, so that I wouldn't be scared of the mask for anesthetic. All that I remember after that was while drowsy, I asked my mother for candy. When I was given the drowsy stuff, it was probably 4:00 am and I woke up at 5:00 pm. When I woke up I felt a sharp burning pain on my left side, and something that felt like a stick stabbing my tummy, I opened my eyes and saw my father and mother with the doctor who preformed the surgery standing over me.

I don't remember much of the that week that I was in the hospital but here is what I remember...

While the doctor was operating to remove my left kidney ( which was completly dead and would of destroyed my other kidney if it wasn't dealt with ASAP, resulting in dyalasys) he found that I had 2 left kidneys, an UNSEEN thing... they said I was probably one of the firsts in the world.

I ate a total of 32 Popsicles

There was a boy my age to my left, who had a serious problem if not more serious (I won't go into details for the sake of readers tummys) after I left the hospital I heard he passed away.

The medicine I was on made me see things, such as things crawling under the wallpaper. Which scared the daylight out of me.

Everyday somebody from church or relatives came to see me, my grandfather never came... I came to find out later because he didn't want to see me in that condition.

September 1'st is my parents anniversary.

I watched excessive amounts of TV.

When I went to the arcade I played video games with my feet, because I had an IV in one hand and some other thing in the other.

The bed was always uncomfortable.

Since then I've decided I'd like to go to medical school and help people with the same problem I had. First I'd like to get a degree in Electrical Engineering, Then Masters in business and then if the lord wills medical school.

By the grace of God I survived.

Stuffed

Did I ever mention how good of a cook my Grandmother is? She prepared a whole meal with Stuffed grape leaves and Tubouleh superior to my own.

I'm ready to hike tomorrow! Wootzorz!

By the way Mrs B... I got a new pair of sneakers, so you don't need to observe what I was going to do kicking in kickball. I was going to Kick barefooted because my other shoes had about an inch of room at the tip, which meant my shoe was cushioning my kick, therefore the ball wasn't flying as far. When I kicked barefooted in practice, my kicks flew twice as far. Oh well, lets see how well these shoes do.

Todays day trip.

Today we went to my fathers office that is set up quite nicely with a couch and all, we played the card game "Tarneeb" quite a bit, ate chinese food and 'pudding'.

Afterwards we went to the Jordan's furniture off Rt 128 it's a beautiful store, with a water show and a burger place, Jellybean place and Icecream place. My family shared two "large" (it really wasn't) ice cream cups Blueberry and Cake batter flavors. We got some pics I'll post further down.

Now I'm home tired, I kept my mind off of her for today. It kind of just jumps on you I guess, it's totally natural so I don't have much to be embarrassed about. Getting the name out of me will be fairly difficult though.

None of these pics have Christine in them, cause she wasn't there :)

Comments welcome as always.

Aren't my sisters pretty?

Look how skilled I am with a camera, getting such pics :)

Really? yes.

It's true, I love my sisters very much, if it ever seems I'm harsh on them it's not the case. I can think of a few times that people got annoyed at me for smacking Rachel in the face with a kickball. For one it wasn't on purpose and for two me making comments like "Awweee She's alright" shouldn't be taken as a lack of respect.

Blaarrrgggg Why do I post about ramblings? meh ._.

Meh...

I'm too self conscience of what people think of me sometimes, grrr... thats fine though. I'll just act like I don't and it'll go away.

Growing up with a full house of 4 older siblings, I was used always being with people. The activity in this house is slowing down though. Church/HSG activity's are like the only thing I do, and computer games of course :) Thats fine though, I'm ranked 1 in one of the divisions of counter strike, which is probably around 6000 people. Should I be proud of that? or be more of a people person? AHH!! too hard to balance!!!
