B-ball ER

Today we had some b-ball again, it was going well sort of dark, but it was good. Nick and I were on the same team, owning it up, when I got a loose ball, spun around jumped and took a shot (Seeing Nick next to the hoop able to rebound it) While in mid air, I was watching the ball seeing where it was going to go. When I landed and heard a loud *POP* and thought I landed on a stick and broke it or something, I shortly after collapsed but didn't feel any pain (In case somebody was wondering, I didn't cry, it's been many years since I actually cried about anything,(Thats not really a great thing... I just don't shed tears)). I believe the pain was sent to my spine before I actually felt it... it's like when you touch something hot, you immediately move your hand, before you actually feel any pain. Thats exactly how it was... Sarah being the wonderful little dear that she is, and health major in College told me that she thought I broke my ankle. I doubted it, because the way it felt, and the way I was able to move it didn't feel broken, It was swelling and FAST. Christine called my parents who were at work, and told them what happened. They came home immediately, and took me to the ER because we were afraid it was dislocated as well as broken (The result would make the bone not repaired correctly). It wasn't very serious, and I was in a lot of pain. but it wasn't something I was too worried about. Dad got me a wheel chair from the place (Rushing, not quite sure why... But I'm grateful for his concern) which could fit 3 of me. It was so fun looking at all the medical equipment they had, that and something/somebody kept my mind off of the situation. It was very quick, I was out of the place in two hours.

Nick my brother in law is awesome, he was very caring while I was at home waiting for my parents. I know this is Massachusetts, but I don't mean it that way, I'm straight and everybody knows that. but I love that guy to bits, he's awesome... he's the closest thing I have to a brother, and he plays that role so well.

It's midnight, and I have sleeping to catch up on.

I'm so sorry, John, that your ankle's broken. Thanks for describing the pain so well, though. Good to know. I hope it heals quickly and well and will join Meghan in praying for you.

What does Massachusetts have to do with anything? (Just wondering, I didn't get that).

Get well, soon, by the way. (People are blaming me for breaking your ankle).

What? How? It wasn't your fault, It was the fact that the basketball court isn't totally flat, and I landed just right to have it happen that way.

and umm... nvm.

I'm just joking. They think I've gotten "violent" since camp.
